Our preparations are on in full swing and we have been conducting many training programmes since November 2016 for taluka co-ordinators and technical and social trainers who will work with the team towards making Water Cup 2017 an impactful and joyful experience for all those who will be a part of it.
Come, let’s make Maharashtra drought-free!
116 villages across three talukas of Maharashtra competed to make their village water-sufficient. The total water storage created by the competing villages was 1,368 crore litres of water which is equal to 13,68,000 tankers of water. This is equal to Rs 272 crores worth of water which the country has saved annually.
